Come Grow with Us

My name is Joe Azar, and I am the Economic Developer in Batesville, Mississippi. Batesville is located on I-55. We can absolutely prove that we are the preferred stop off Interstate 55. Hwy 6/278 crosses I-55 through Batesville and leads to Ole Miss under 20 minutes away. If you are past Jackson, Tennessee traveling west on 40 or south of Cape Girardeau traveling south connecting to I-55, you will choose Batesville as we are the safest, cleanest, well-lit, and easiest/quickest ingress-egress access off I-55 that exist. We can prove this by our retail data found below.

Northwest Community College is adding a new skills training center that will regionally serve over 1000 individuals each year. We have 900 new industrial jobs, and all our buildings are full. We currently have 39 industries in Panola County. We have the perfect spot for you, so come grow with us. Please call me, Joe Azar, at 662-609-9333, or email joeazar@panolacounty.com.

While recruiting new commerce and industry is a critically important part of the Panola Partnership mission, an equally important component is to provide support and assistance to its “partners,” the many area businesses that have joined the partnership because of a shared vision for Panola County’s future.

The Panola Partnership, Inc. is a 501-c(6) non-profit, membership organization founded in 1996.  It provides a voice for the community as a whole while assisting individual businesses and community leaders with their short and long-term interests.  Please be sure to check out the latest edition of our Partnership Progress newsletter!

Member Businesses and Individuals should keep their membership info up-to-date.  Please verify your information at our Business Directory Page and log in to make any changes.  You can also email any questions or changes to partnership@panolacounty.com.

Our 2019 event was catered by Taylor Grocery with guest speaker Dr. Bronson Strickland, chronic wasting disease expert from Mississippi State University. A fun filled afternoon of good food and sportsmanship!
